Downtown Georgetown • 702-1116 www.rampullasmartialarts.com COMMUNITY Free Christmas Day dinner returns to the Glen For the seventh year in a row, St. Alban's church in Glen Williams will be hosting a free Community Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day. The purpose is to welcome any and all who have limited opportunity to share dinner, com- panionship and the spirit of Christmas with others. It also provides an opportunity for those less fortu- nate to receive a hearty meal served with friend- ship and laughter. There is no charge for the guests attending. Ev- erything is made possible by donations and help- ing hands from the church congregation and the broader community. Guests arrive starting at about 12:30 p.m. and dinner is served in the Hall at about 1 p.m. If you or someone you know would like to at- tend, please contact Michelle Jarvie at 905-877- 1441. If no answer, please leave a brief message indicating: name; a contact phone number; the number of persons likely to attend; and whether transportation is needed. If you are interested in helping out, St. Alban's welcomes donations of Christmas food (e.g. tur- keys, vegetables, desserts, treats etc.) and helping hands (young and old) both before and on the day of the dinner. If you would like to volunteer (e.g. cooking, serving, music), there are tasks for setup the day before, cooking and serving on Christmas day, plus cleanup after dinner. To offer help in any of these areas, call Jarvie. Wishing everyone in our community the happiest of holidays. It is our pleasure to serve our guests in Georgetown and Acton every day. We thank you for your loyal patronage and look forward to serving you in the New Year!
