Let us help you regain your confidence and independence Did you know? The scientific research clearly shows that physiotherapy should be the first line of treatment for incontinence. Many people believe that incontinence; the involuntary loss of urine, is a normal occurrence after childbirth or aging. Continence concerns are common but NOT normal. Stress Incontinence (SI) refers to leakage that is noticed during a cough or sneeze, when laughing, or during strenuous activities like soccer, jumping jacks, or other aerobic activities. Sometimes women get the sudden and urgent need to get to a bathroom. Urge Incontinence (UI) is the loss of urine that is accompanied by this sudden, urgent feeling. Leakage may have started off with minimal and tolerable amounts of leakage that occurred with a cough or sneeze, but then leakage can accelerate to amounts that are substantial enough to wear protective padding, continence garments or simply just avoiding activities that were once enjoyed. Conducted by Music Director Dale Wood, the concert starts off with the darling five- and six-year-olds singing tunes like "African Noel", "Run, Rudolph, Run" and "Do You Hear What I Hear?". The Performance and Senior Choirs sing music with four-part harmonies, featuring songs like "The Gift Goes On," "Each Child," "Gloria Deo Up in the Sky" and "It's Beginning to Look Like Christ- mas." The teenagers especially enjoy "Sing Joy!" "Ding a Ding a Ding" and their hands down favourite, the rock n roll hit, "Christmas - (Baby Please Come Home)" by Phil Spector and Jeff Bar- ry. The choirs finish with John Rut- ter's stunning rendition of "I Wish you Christmas". Following intermission, 60 kids-- ages seven to 11-- blast off with the rock Christmas musical of galactic pro- portions: In A Galilee Far, Far Away…. complete with costumes, sets and cho- reography set to lively, rock music. The space crew is on an interplanetary ex- ploration to discover the universe, and beyond! Through a series of fortunate events, their journey leads them back to a manger in Bethlehem. Filled with ul- tra-hip songs and an incredible Christ- mas story, get ready to boldly go where no kids' choir has ever gone before! Special guest singer is Joanna Fraser, who is the Artistic Director of show. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for 18 and under.
