ENTERTAINMENT Red Door Gallery holds Opening Show next week Red Door Gallery hosts its Opening Show with juried art selected from artists and stu- dios in Halton Region, from Thursday, Feb. 12 to Sunday, March 1. The Red Door Gallery is a new commu- nity gallery at 127 Mill St., in the heart of downtown Georgetown. The gallery's open- ing show features work by artists all around, from some of Ontario's best artists to emerg- ing young stars, and includes painting, draw- ing and three-dimensional pieces. The show is being selected by three high calibre artists: glass artist Andy Kuntz, and painters Eileen Menzel and Christine Montague. "It's a great opportunity to see art in real life, instead of online," says Montague. "There is always a surprise as to its scale, co- lour, texture and emotional impact."
