The bold canvases are colourful and tex- tured, and incorporate acrylic and metallic paints, oxidized metals and beautiful metal leaf. This gives light and energy to Brand- ford's work that attracts and holds the view- er's attention. Each painting has a tell-tale structure and symmetry which gives away Brandford's discipline as an interior design- er. "I work with clients to design a room, and to place works of art within it, whether new commissioned art or their own pieces.," says Brandford. His paintings and interior design schemes are enjoyed in private collections and homes in major cities across Canada and the United States. Meet Brandford at an Opening Reception on Saturday, April 11, 1-5 p.m. The show continues until April 26. The Red Door Gallery is located at 127 Mill St. in downtown Georgetown. Gallery hours are Thursday-Sunday, 12 noon to 5 p.m. Info: www.reddoorgallery.ca, 289-891-6407.
