ENTERTAINMENT Sex Please, We're Sixty promises to be comedic romp Full of naughty jokes and unseemly innu- endoes, one will have a riotous good time enjoying the zany plot of Michael and Susan Parker's Sex Please, We're Sixty, presented by Georgetown Little Theatre. It opens at the John Elliott Theatre, 9 Church St., George- town on Friday, April 17. Directed by Mike Butterworth and pro- duced by Gina Van Raalte, the story revolves around six very delightful and different se- niors. Mrs. Stancliffe's (Patricia Ball) Rose Cot- tage Bed & Breakfast attracts older, single female guests year after year. Next door lives our weak-backed, senior, sex machine, "Bud The Stud" (Mike Tadic), an unabashed lothario always on the prowl for "chicks." Thankfully her other neighbour, her would- be suitor Henry Mitchell (Bob Land) is a thoughtful retired chemist. Unlike Bud's little blue pills, Henry has developed ones called "Venusia" which are intended to aid the libido of menopausal females. The fun begins when Bud gets caught three timing: Victoria Ambrose (Sharonne Young), a romantic novelist whose lack of personal romance has caused a writer's block; Hillary Hudson (Karen Brodie), a sophisticated former co-worker of Henry, whose secretive mission creates riotous hav- oc; and Charmaine Beauregard (Patti Caru- so), a southern belle whose fiery, indepen- dent nature gives Buddy boy a real workout. The "Chicks" then replace Bud's Viagra with Venusia and enjoy the humour of man dealing with hormonal imbalance. But of course there has to be a twist! So why not visit Rose Cottage, where one will be led in and out of all sorts of "Viagra- Venusia" induced mischief. Sex Please We're Sixty will be performed at the John Elliott Theatre on April 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25 evenings at 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sun- day, April 19. For tickets: $24 (adult); $20 (Seniors 60+) and students with ID $5, call the JET Box Of- fice 905-877-3700 or online at www.halton- hills/theatre.
