EGPG will teach you the basics to grow a pumpkin up to 1,000 pounds and some of the secrets to grow even bigger. Seeds from some of the world's top genetics will be avail- able at the seminar. EGPG will also be giving some tips for growing some of the other giant vegetables (like giant tomatoes, carrot, beets, rutabaga, cabbage, and others) that you can compete with at the Erin Fall Fair. The first prize winner at the fair last year won $1,500 for a 1,389-pound pumpkin and the first prize winner for the Other Giant Vegetable class won $500 for a 25-pound beet!
