Classics against Cancer hosts their annual Father's Day Show in Cedar- vale Park, situated on the banks of the Silver Creek. After a long winter, vintage car and truck enthusiasts love to get their motor running and shine up the chariot for a day of fun. Classics against Cancer has been the uno� cial "doorway to summer" for car fans. Classics against Cancer was initi- ated in 1988 by local businessman, Neil Young along with a dozen of his friends. � e idea was to combine a classical concert with a car show as a backdrop to the music and park setting. � e show returned in 1989 to become a yearly attraction for car fans. It was a hot from the start with the inaugural event drawing such choice vehicles such as a Model J Duesenberg and two vintage Ferraris Continued on page 3
