NEWS Divorce support offered Beginning Thursday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m., Georgetown Alliance Church is offering the DivorceCare support program. DivorceCare is helpful for individuals who find themselves separated, divorced or experiencing the end of a long-term re- lationship. "A major difference we experience in relationships is that when a loved one passes away those close to us unite and we all grow closer together but when facing separation or divorce our loved ones feel pressured that they need to take sides," says Gary one of the DivorceCare facilita- tors. DivorceCare is an internationally rec- ognized Christ-centered support group. The DivorceCare group meets from 7 to 9 p.m. weekly for 13 weeks. For meeting location information or to register for the program, please call Leslie at 905 873-0250 ext 113 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. or e-mail leslie@george- townalliance.ca.
