Peter fervently followed politics, the CBC ("an absolute necessity"), enjoyed many sports and a good laugh; he could never pass up a good deal. Peter, and his stories, will be missed by his family and friends. A memorial tree has been planted at Sunnyside Senior Apartments in Kitchener. Peter's family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. K. Luce, Dr. S. Keleher and the compassionate caregivers at Innisfree Hospice. A private family memorial service will be held in the Spring, Peter's favourite season. SOAL, David Charles On Sunday, October 4th, 2015 at the Georgetown Hospital, Cory, Kathy and Irene said a final goodbye to our dear Dad and Husband. Dave was born in Belleville. He lived in Scarborough, Montreal and Toronto, but for the past 45 years his home and heart was in Georgetown. It was here that he took a leap of faith into the real estate industry to eventually become Broker / Owner of his own franchise. In later years he worked at Cooper Standard before retiring. Dave was a young at heart 73, but had struggled with a cognitive dysfunction for many years. Rest in peace sweetheart, you were the love of my life. Thank you for being the wonderfully caring, happy family man you were. Your friendly, outgoing manner extended to everyone you met. Dave will be sadly missed by his daughter in law Jennifer, Grandson Jack will lovingly remember his Grandpa and little Lyla and Mila always had hugs and kissed for their "Pa-pop". Good times together were always cherished with sisters and brothers in law Juliana and Ross, in South Carolina and Dan and Chris in Pickering. Uncle Dave will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews as well as his Aunts … as their "Party Boy". A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. As cremation was his wish, a private family service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Georgetown. Messages to the family or a favourite "Dave Story" may be left at: www.jsjonesansonfuneralhome.com.
