At around 5 p.m., a man and women entered the Po- lo Ralph Lauren store at To- ronto Premium Outlets, 13850 Steeles Ave. W. The woman selected five men's dress shirts. Police allege that while the man kept watch, the woman removed security tags from the items and concealed them in her purse. The pair then left the store. They were seen getting into a white 2019 Ford Es- cape, which police said is registered to a company in Etobicoke. The man is described as 30-40 years old, six feet tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and balding black hair. He wore glasses, a blue puffy coat and jeans. The woman is described as 30-40 years old, five-foot- six, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She wore Burberry ear- muffs, a beige, puffy Bur- berry coat and carried a black purse. Since Feb. 16 there have been at least a dozen inci- dents of graffiti being painted in highly visible ar- eas of downtown George- town. Five unique tags have been recognized based on their style and signature, each using a different col- our and distinct style of writing. The five identifi- able tags are: • Deadx (normally painted in black) • Dead (contains a scythe extending on the last letter) • Jade (normally painted in black and writ- ten in cursive) • RIOT (written in all capitals and normally painted in red) • Baby Police are encouraging members of the communi- ty to contact the police if they have any information about the people responsi- ble for the graffiti.
