Bring your friends, neighbours and relatives to our annual pancake breakfast this Saturday. Serving is from 8-11 a.m. Break the diet and come and enjoy pancakes, sau- sages, maple syrup, juice, tea/coffee. Tickets are available from reception or at the door. Interested in an oppor- tunity to try a couple of new crafts? Amanda, the owner of Artsy Phartsy in Acton, will be teaching you five different, exciting projects in five workshops. These started on Monday and will continue each Monday throughout the month. Classes begin at 10:30 a.m. Each workshop will have a sign-up sheet and requires a minimum of 10 participants per class. First project in the series was titled "rock birds on a wire." All mate- rials needed are supplied as part of the fee. Dr. Norm Goldberg will be with us at the centre on Wednesday, April 24 be- ginning at 10:30 a.m. to talk to us about medical canna- bis - to dispel the myths and facts of its use. Sherry asked me to re- mind you that Movie Fri- day, held every two weeks, will start sharply at 12:30 p.m. Still includes popcorn and a drink. Look up over the kitch- en counter. There you will see a TV screen showing you a running tally of all the events coming up at the centre. Want to know? Look up! The centre will be closed Good Friday, April 19 and Easter Monday, April 22. To everyone a safe and Happy Easter and may the Easter Bunny smother you in chocolate.
