Ryan Snow, of the Halton Regional Police Service's traffic services unit, said. "There have been more motorcycle colli- sions where death or life-altering injuries have been the result." Of at least seven incidents, the first occurring on March 23, and most recent on July 12, four have been fatal, while the other three have been life-altering. A number of collisions, Snow said, involve motorists turning left in front of bikes that have the right of way. "We're seeing a lot of motorcy- cles involved that are typically smaller bikes with a narrow pro- file," Snow said. Smaller, sportier bikes, with dark paint, ridden by riders in dark gear can be difficult for mo- torists to spot, especially at night.
