The Halton Hills Public Library will be hosting Fire- fighter Storytime at several locations throughout Hal- ton Hills in November. The entertaining and ed- ucational storytime is led by Halton Hills firefighter Mark Burger, who has been reading, acting and dancing for local children for five years, all while teaching them about the dangers of fire and what to do in an emergency. "It's something I really enjoy and because it's such an important topic and aligns with my career. I en- joy bringing it to the com- munity," says Burger, him- self a father. "The children have so much fun; plus, they are being educated in fire safety prevention at the same time."
