Holiday Magic takes place on Dec. 7, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. "Our downtown mer- chants are ready to ring in the holiday season with special offers and delight- ful holiday treats for the community," Yaw Ennin, Downtown Georgetown BIA manager, said. "For five hours, we'll be trans- forming downtown Georgetown into a magical winter wonderland." This year's market will feature local craft and food vendors, and a seasonal se- lection from the Downtown Georgetown Farmers Mar- ket. The event will also fea- ture a traditional horse and wagon ride, pony rides on Mill Street, Santa's For- est, street entertainers and more. Downtown businesses will also take part in a win- dow display contest. At- tendees can vote for their favourite display by post- ing a picture of it on Insta- gram, Facebook, or Twit- ter with the hashtag #DTGeorgetownMagic for a chance to win a $75 down- town gift card. The dead- line for submissions is 8 p.m. on Dec. 7.
