The current shoreline protection measures in place have deteriorated over the years, and this deterioration has accelerated given recent high lake water levels. This open house is a drop-in format where town staff and the project consultant will be on-hand to answer questions and collect feedback on the preliminary shoreline protection design. At around 8:20 a.m., a man approached a home on Sewell Drive, near Montclair Drive, and knocked on the front door, police said. When no one answered, he entered through a base- ment window. Police said the home is vacant and as such there was nothing for the in- truder to steal. The man is described as white, approximately six- foot, with a medium build.foot, with a medium build.f He wore a two-tone grey hoodie with an or- ange zipper, a black scarf covering his face, black or grey gloves, dark grey pants, black shoes and a brown hat. Police are also looking for the individual respon-for the individual respon-f sible for breaking into a home on Grand Boulevard near Kimberley Drive on the same day. At some point between 7:50 a.m., and 3:30 p.m., someone smashed the window of the dwelling's side door so they could get inside, police said. The intruder stole cash and jewelry. No one was home at the time of the break-in and no description is avail- able. Officers are also looking into Nov. 18 break- ins to lockers at a gym/ health club in the Upper Middle Road and Eighth Line area. At some point between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., locks were cut off two lockers at the facility and cash was taken. No suspect description is available. It is unclear whether the same person is respon- sible for all these break- ins.
