Omar Nadim called a "vio- lent" incident in which men "armed with hand- guns," broke into a home on Granby Drive in Oak- ville, in the area of Eighth Line and Upper Middle Road East. Once inside, the group forced all seven residents inside the home into one room and tied them up, Na- dim said in a release. One of the victims, a teenage boy, was further assaulted and hit in the head with a gun, police said. The men stole electron- ics, jewelry, clothing, cash, and two vehicles from the home. On Jan. 28, two adults and a teenaged boy were arrested in connection with this home invasion af- ter two search warrants were executed at homes in Toronto and Brampton. Jermaine Watson, 36, of Toronto, has been charged with seven counts each of robbery with a firearm and forcible confinement, along with breaking and entering to commit rob- bery and two counts of breach of probation. Kristopher Matthews, 28, of Brampton, faces the same charges, while a To- ronto teen, who cannot be identified because he was 17 at the time of the inci- dent, faces seven counts each of robbery with a fire- arm and forcible confine- ment, along with breaking and entering to commit robbery and breaching a sentence order.
