They have been a community supporter of Kerr Street Mission for many years. COBS Lakeshore donates $325,000 in baked goods and support to KSM each year. Wow!! The bread provides families with healthy, fresh bread daily and also supports our meal programs. Over 360 days a year, our team of dedicated volunteers package their end of day bread and deliver it to KSM for clients to enjoy. COBS Lakeshore also extends their support by partnering with us for KSM's signature events. "We are proud to remain open during these challenging times serving our community, this in turn allows us to continue to support KSM with our End of Day Giving Program. The great volunteers work with us to ensure that KSM receives all of our fresh products left over at the end of each day. Each day we start baking from scratch at 3 am for our community." Kevin Kerr, Owner, COBS Lakeshore. We are so thankful for their partnership and commitment to serving our families especially during this time of uncertainty. In addition to their commitment of support, just a few weeks ago, they raised over $500 from baked good sales for KSM. Thank you again to Kevin Ker and the COBS Lakeshore team. We are so grateful. Back for a second year -- only now as an on- line board game -- is the shelter's Mission Pawsible: Homeward Bound cam- paign, which runs until June 12 at www.omhs.ca/ missionpawsible. Taken on a virtual jour- ney of a stray, participants will get their animal's his- tory and set up a fundrais- ing page, then share their story on their social net- work. The goal is to cover the cost of the animal's care. Once participants reach $1,000, they're Homeward Bound. Players can visit the OMHS Facebook page for updates on the giant game board. Videos will be post- ed weekly. Registration can be done through the entirety of the campaign, but par- ticipants are encouraged to sign up now to allow enough time for the jour- ney.
