Beloved husband of Margaret for over fifty-three years. Loving father of Fiona (Andrew) and Jennifer (Mark) and proud Grandad of Alastair, Bryce, and Emily. Brother to Jane Currie (John) in Bramley, UK. Born in Glasgow, Frank was a graduate of Glasgow University and began his career as a Civil Engineer in the City before moving to Kent and then Vancouver in 1980. Thereafter he worked in Toronto for various engineering firms prior to his retirement in 2011 with a focus on water treatment and supply. He was a quiet man with a wry sense of humour, and an avid classical music fan. Whilst in good health he thoroughly enjoyed attending concerts in Toronto. He leaves behind many life-long friends in the UK and Canada. At Frank's request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and when possible some of his ashes will be scattered in Scotland at the resting place of his parents. Online condolences at www.koprivataylor.com FOX, James (Jim/Jimmy) Murray ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ With great sadness we announce the death of James (Jim/Jimmy) Murray Fox after courageously enduring mul- tiple system atrophy. Jim died at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, with his beloved wife, children, and family by his side. Jim was born on February 18, 1947, in Glasgow, Scotland, and came to Canada to be with his family in 1965. He originally resided in Toronto before moving to Oakville where he lived and worked for the last five years. Jim loved life and had many friends throughout Canada, the USA and Scotland whom he considered family. His kind- hearted humour, which remai- ned to the very end, will continue to bring warm memories to all who knew him. His favourite pastimes included crosswords, Jeop- ardy (with Alex Trebek), golf, reading and solving the problems of the world with a cold beer in hand. He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Jelinek, his children Taryn and Shauna Fox, and his four grandchildren. Jim also cherished his extended family including his nieces and nephew, great- nieces, great- great-niece, and great-great- nephew. Jim's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at OTMH, Rehab Unit 2 for their outstanding care and compassion.
