Alan Hyatt, 58, is $250,000 richer after win- ning with an Instant Sonic Multiplier. "I am a regular lottery player and I love playing Instant games," Hyatt, 58, said. Hyatt discovered his win on a Sunday morning shortly after playing his ticket. "When I saw the prize amount, my heart started pounding, he said. "I told my sister right away and she couldn't believe it. At first, I planned on keeping the news to myself, but then I ended up texting ev- eryone I knew out of ex- citement." While Hyatt said he'd like to travel across Cana- da one day, he plans to save the money and invest. "This is going to help my retirement so much," he said. The Instant Sonic Mul- tiplier is available for $10 and the top prize is $250,000. The odds of win- ning any prize are one in 3.83. Hyatt purchased his ticket at Circle K on Guelph St. in Georgetown.
