At time of photographing, it was noted on the blue index card that the building owners were Mr. & Mrs. Wallace who personally resided on Sixth Line. They estimated that it had been built in 1868.

The building is Designated by the Town of Oakville under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act. More information can be found in these documents on the Town website.
