Halton police seized 81 grams of meth- amphetamine, nine grams of crack co- caine, 2.4 grams of fentanyl (pink in col- our), nine grams of fentanyl (purple in col- our) and approximately 118 blue and white pills that are believed to be oxycodone. Police also seized $335 in cash. The search warrants, conducted at Oakville homes, were obtained following a lengthy drug trafficking investigation by the 2 District Street Crime Unit. As a result six people, all Oakville resi- dents, were charged: A 29-year-old man is charged with three counts of trafficking a controlled sub- stance (one each for cocaine, methamphet- amine and fentanyl), three counts of pos- session for the purpose of trafficking (one each for cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl), breach of recognizance and fail to comply with undertaking. A 55-year-old man is charged with traf- ficking a controlled substance (fentanyl) and possession for the purpose of traffick- ing (fentanyl). A 31-year-old man faces charges of pos- session of a controlled substance (fenta- nyl), fail to comply with release order, fail to comply with probation order. Charged with three counts of fail to comply with probation order is a 53-year- old man. A 27-year-old woman is charged with fail to comply with release order A 33-year-old man is charged with fail to comply with release order None of the charges have been proven in court.
