- Education Award won by St. Peter's School. Accepting the award from presenter Tim Kingsbury is teacher Nancy Pepper.
- Notes
- Eleven boys and girls in grade four won the Education Award for a project which centred on prominent early Miltonians; each student concentrated on a different individual. They made gravestone rubbings at the Pioneer Cemetery, toured historic areas of the town and visited Halton Region Museum. By the end of the three-week project each student had produced an illustrated booklet about his/her chosen pioneer.
