- Halton Fire Bureaut and the Oakville and Milton fire Departments received certificates for 1970 victories in the National Fire Protection Association's fire prevention competition, at a recent Mutual Aid dinner held at Milton. From left are: Oakville Fire Chief J.D. Wilson, George Alexander of the FMO, who presented the award, Milton Fire Chief A.E. Clement and Georgetown Fire Chief J.C. Cunnigham, who is a Bureau member and who chaired the Mutual Aid dinner.
