With the as- sistance of George Mann, of Eg- linton, who scored 52 and took 4 wickets for 24, they doubled the Oakville score in impressive fashion. Oakville opened with Robin Bourne and Ken Lambert, 20 runs being up when Bourne was howl- ed by Mann for 16. At the same total, Tony Wells was LB.W. to the same bowler. At 28 Lambert was also L.B.W. to Mann for 11. At 33 Hamilton Smith was run out for 2 and Harry Wiffen was bowled by Mann for 6. Ted Ad- amson was bowled for zero and Dennis Walters for 5. Pete Tizard was run out for 1, and Kelly New, not out, scored 8 runs, An even dozen byes made the total 63. B-A'S DROP CLOSE ONE TO WOODBRIDGE GIRLS Although they chalked up a decisive 20-7 win over George- town last Friday night, Oakville B-A's dropped into a second- place tie with Woodbridge Mon- day evening when they were shaded in a tight 5.4 tussle by the hometown girls at Wood- bridge. Only one league tilt re- mains to be played, that being with Brampton Binns, August 18, after which the local lassies will swing into the playoff rounds.
