A special Baster service conducted by Mrs. McArthur, Mrs, Fred Hot- son and Mrs. Shane, entitled "He Is Risen" was enjoyed by all. Mrs. Inkster gave a short talk on Stewardship, and Mrs. DeCour- sey gave a review' of the book, "Rising Through The Dust," by. Archie R. Crouch, a story of the rise and setbacks of the Christ- ian Church in China. A social time followed with refreshments provided by Mrs. Wright's group. Kennedy was one of the first members of the CWAGC's and one of its first offi- cers. Women in Canada's Armed Services contributed much to the nation's war effort.
