Friday ovening was one of the most successful of the season, while the fast approaching Christ- mas Formal has everyone on thelr toes. Everywhere we hear of boys arranging date and girls discussing {heir plush formals. Johnny Brenan, our musical maestro for the evening has for: warded his music programme. It includes fox trots, waltzes and rhumbas, all played with Glen Miller and Artie Shaw touch. And you say your mot coming.! During the past years Teen Town has always held a Miss Teen Town contest. This year, in the way of a change, the council ran a popularity contest for the girls and boys, the inners to De crowned King and Queen. Voting was Friday evening, and ballots were turned over to recreation director Ted Kennedy for count- ing, with the winners to be an- nounced at the Christmas Form- al. Spotted jovial Tommy Sale making the rounds on Friday evening. Long time no see, Tom- my. Also noticed 2 few out-of- town guests, particularily from Henshaw, man. school under the direction of Mrs. Fred Hotson are presenting a Nativity play in the church this Sunday evening at 7 o'clock. Mr. Hotson will act as narrator. Young people of the church, their parents and friends, are cordially invited to attend. Mrs Hunter Reid, president of Halton Presbytery, introduced the guest speaker, Mrs. H. McCullagh, of the Dominion Woman's Associa tion Council. Mrs. McCullagh spoke of the place of the Wom- an's Association in the work of the United Church. Mrs. M. A.
