Following the dinner at 1 o'clock, a baseball game was play- ed and--a program Of races run off, under Mesrs. R. Kelly and A. Walsom, assisted by Rev. J. W. Stewart. EI The session of Wesley Sunday school was especially interesting, to everyone present on Sunday morning when Miss White and Miss McCall of the Faith Mis- sion in Canada, who have been guests of Miss Mary Albertson, Dundas Highway, West Erindale, for two weeks, paid a yisit to the Sunday School. Introduced to the members by Miss Albertson, these young ladies illustrated the story of Elijah by means of Flannel- gram, which held the undivided attention of young and old alike. The appreciation of the -mem- bers for their visit was voiced by the superintendent, Arnold Fish. The Faith Mission is un- denominational. During their two weeks. stay in Erindale, they gave talks in the S.S. rom of the United Church to the child- ren after four o'clock and to the older people in the evening from 8 to 9. They also visited the homes in the district. xx or osx Rev. Mr. McLeod, Southamp- ton, conducted the service at Knox Church, Sixteen, on Sun- day morning. Special music was rendered by a quartette, Miss Alice Torgness, Miss Dorothy Boyte and Keith and Deane Hop- per, and a duet was sung by Miss Torgness and D. Hopper. Mr. Lester Burtsch, formerly leader and organist of the church, was at the organ.
