In a report to council on April 25, the town's corporate strategy program adviser, Donna Hales, noted that between 2014 and 2021, greenhouse gas emissions from town facilities and its corporate/ transit fleets dropped by 29.3 per cent while energy use for these facilities and fleets fell by 24.7 per cent. "This is great work. Really ex- citing," said Hales. "We had targets set for 2030 that we wanted to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 30 per cent and our energy use by then by 20 per cent.
