Registration for Town of Oakville sum- mer camps and spring programs is now open. Residents can check out a variety of camps and workshops, including general day camp programs and specialty offerings such as sports, swimming, arts and leader- ship. Drop-in activity spaces are limited, and pre-registration is recommended. The camps are geared toward children between the ages of four and 12 and the town says all staff members are selected based on their experience and enthusiasm. Also, camp staff must have emergency first aid training, a police screening check, and training in the HIGH FIVE principles of healthy child development. Those who don't want to attend camp every day can purchase a super play- ground summer membership for $35 ($45 for non-residents). This option is for kids ages six to 12 and provides access to fun games, crafts and activities at select sites across Oakville. Super playground drop-ins start July 4. For more information about the town's summer camp programs or to register vis- it https://www.oakville.ca/culturerec/ camps.html. REGISTRATION OPEN FOR SUMMER CAMPS NEWS Members of Iroquois Ridge High School's Relay for Life and Green Team celebrated Earth Day with a clean-up of their school track and Glenashton Park.
