Police responded to the area of Ninth Line and Dundas Street around 4 a.m. after receiving a 911 call "reporting someone has been shot," police said in a news release. The caller advised two occupants were parked in a vehicle on Ninth Line when they were approached by an unknown male. The unknown male be- came aggressive, leaving the area "and then return- ing with a firearm and shooting into the vehicle," Halton police said. The male passenger was struck and taken to hospi- tal by the driver in non-life threatening condition. The suspect fled the scene on foot. He is described as male, South Asian, black hair, six foot, 200 pounds.
