Oakville is the most select residential town in Ontario, everybody must admit it. Wouldn't a Community Hall be a fine thing for Oakville. The business transacted in Oakville, especially through the post office, fully warrants a new post office building. Get after the Dominion Government, at least try for it. A modern Town Hall, in keeping with Oakville's impor­ tance would be a good thing. Why not have it? With three weekly newspapers, Oakville should be pretty well advertised. If the Star, The Record and The News would only combine forces what an advantage it would be for the pub­ lishers, the business advertisers and the reading public. Nevertheless, each of these papers and their respective pub­ lishers, are worthy of the best support locally for the good they accomplish in the interests of the town.
