The Oakville and Mil- ton Humane Society will be hosting its second-an- nual Doggie Dip at Lions Pool in Oakville on Sun- day, Sept. 4. Dogs of all sizes are wel- come to enjoy a 30-minute swim in the pool. Early- bird tickets are available at a discounted price of $25 until midnight Aug. 22. Af- ter that date, the price will be $35. Times will be available in six sessions from noon until 3:45 p.m. The first session from noon to 12:30 p.m. is re- served for small dogs (un- der 25 lb). Anyone wishing to reserve a time for their dog can book online at www.omhs.ca. Swim times are limited. All proceeds support the OMHS, which cares for more than 3,000 domestic animals each year as well as wildlife.
