Marj was a long time Acton resident who worked at the Sears Order office and the Acton/ Halton Hills Hydro office. She was a member of the Acton Legion and Acton Curling Club. Marj lost her mother at a young age but was close to her two brothers, especially Harry. Over the years Marj welcomed many of her son's friends into their home. She was a cancer survivor in the 70's and adored daffodils and roses and could always be seen wearing her favourite colour blue. Marj is survived by her son Ron (Trevolyn), grandchildren Richard and Angela (Devon), and great- granddaughters Lola and Molly. She was predeceased by her husband Bob (1991) and dear friend George Flinders, parents Bill and Nellie, brothers Howard and Harry and goddaughter Nancy. Marj has lived at Eden House Retirement home for the last five years. We are forever grateful for their compassionate care. A private family funeral service will be held, interment at Fairview Cemetery, Acton. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Survived by his wife Anica of 63 years, daughters: Mary (Zvonko) Juric and Dianne (Starcevic) and grandchildren: Jasen and Amanda (Jurich), Thomas, and Victoria (Herren). Milan, known by many as Mike, was born in Lika Croatia in 1933. He immigrated to Toronto Canada in 1956 and spent 30 years working for INCO in Port Colborne. In 2001 Milan and Anica moved to Georgetown to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Milan quickly made Georgetown his home. Everyone seemed to know "Mike." He was affable and full of life. He would chat with everyone, always kind and polite. Milan valiantly lived with dementia in his last few years. The staff at Bennett Health Care Centre Long Term Care provided loving and compassionate care that enabled him to live his final years with dignity and honor. We are forever grateful to the staff at the Bennett health Care Centre. Your smile and kindness will never be forgotten, you are forever our Angel. A family funeral was held at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Mississauga on April 23, 2021. QUERQUES, Joe February 17, 1936 - April 29, 2009 ------------------ Dad, 12 years have passed since you left us. Alex will be 25 soon and Nicole will be 28 this year. You would be so proud of them. Steve still works at HSBC. After two surgeries I finally feel like myself again. All the aunts and uncles in Canada have died along with your brother in Italy and many friends and relatives. The world is upside down as COVID 19 has forced us to wear masks and stay home. I can't imagine how you would have dealt with these restrictions. I want you to know that your family has finally been able to follow your last wish. I will always love you and miss you.
