QO oakvitte Notice of Passing of Community Benefits Charge By-law 2022-069 Wednesday, September 07, 2022 The Town of Oakville Council passed the Community Benefits Charge By-law 2022-069 on September 6, 2022. By-law 2022-069 establishes community benefits charges within the town at a rate of four per cent of the value of the land to pay for capital costs of facilities, services and matters required because of development and redevelopment that are five storeys or more and have a minimum of ten residential units. By-law 2022- 069 came into effect on September 7, 2022. Any person or organization may appeal this by-law to the Ontario Land Tribunal under Section 37(17) of the Planning Act by filing a notice of appeal, setting out the objection to the by-law and reasons supporting the objection, with the Town Clerk at TownClerk@oakville. ca or 905-815-6015, no later than October 17, 2022.
