In 2008 Oakville could have approved a reasonable development for midtown with 20-storey buildings that would have met provincial requirements (See Town of Oakville 2008 Midtown Pan). In 2013, Oakville could have approved another slightly larger plan. Our leaders failed both times. Now the Town is proposing skyscrapers. | oppose 59- storey skyscrapers anywhere in Oakville.
