For more parade photos, visit insidehalton.com insidehalton.com OAKVILLE McCraney Creek Bridge Replacement Notice of Study Completion - Municipal Class ii I The Study: The town has completed an environmental assessment for the replacement of the McCraney Creek Bridge that is located over McCraney Creek, on Lakeshore Road West immediately to the east o' Fourth Line. The bridge was built in 1940. Due to its deteriorating condition, ongoing erosion and risk of flooding, the bridge requires replacement. The process: This Study was completed in accordance with the requirements of a Schedule ‘B’ project as outlined in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) document (October 2000, as amended in 2015). Project File Report: The study team previously hosted a virtual Public Information Centre from June 16 to June 30, 2022, to share the ded solution for oakville.ca by searching McCraney Creek Bridge EA. You are invited to review the Project File Report and share any written comments or questions by December 16, 2022, using the online comment form available on the project webpage noted above. Section 16 Order Request: A request may be made to the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks for an order requiring a higher level of study, or that conditions be imposed, only on the grounds that the requested order may prevent, mitigate or remedy adverse impacts on constitutionally protected Aboriginal and treaty rights. Requests on other grounds will not be considered. Requests should include the requester contact information and full name. Requests should specify what kind of order is being requested, how an order may prevent, mitigate or remedy potential adverse impacts on Aboriginal and treaty rights, and any information in support of the statements in the request. The study team has now prepared the Project File Report to document the details of the problem, the recommended solution and mitigation measures.
