alton.ca . me fini aiHalton “see =~ REGION —_Z NOTICE OF STUDY COMMENCEMENT Water, Wastewater and Transportation Integrated Master Plan (R2414A, R2875B, $3256A, W3258A) Study Halton Region is initiating an Integrated Master Plan to complete the next region-wide Water, Wastewater and Multi-Modal Transportation Master Plans. The outcome of this work will be a long-term integrated servicing strategy for Regional infrastructure to accommodate future growth in support of the Regional Official Plan Review. The Integrated Master Plan will provide the strategies, policies and tools required to meet the future water, wastewater and transportation infrastructure needs. The study will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA), (October 2000, amended 2007, 2011 and 2015), which is an approved process under Ontario's Environmental Assessment Act. The Integrated Master Plan will become the basis for, and will be used in support of, future Schedule C MCEA studies identified in the Master Plan. The Integrated Master Plan will be prepared with the level of investigation, consultation and documentation sufficient to fulfil the requirements for all Schedule A, A+ and B projects within the Master Plan. Public Engagement Public and review agency consultation is a key element of the Integrated Master Plan process and input will be sought throughout this study. Details regarding public consultation opportunities will be announced as the study progresses. Additional information related to the study and consultation process may be found on the project webpage at halton.ca. Upon completion of the study, the Integrated Master Plan report will be prepared and placed on the public record for a minimum 30-day review period. The documents will detail the planning and consultation process, and the infrastructure strategy to support growth in the region.
