He was select- ed as Georgetown’s Citizen of the Year for 1987. Mr. Gorth stressed that he is appreciative of the very caring, dedicated people he has met throughout the community over the years. The Gorths are finally going to slow down and enjoy more time for themselves, although Mr. Gorth will continue to volunteer with the United Way in commercial fundraising. Look at Wastewise for costume ideas With Halloween just around the comer, a Wastewise volunteer has come up with an innovative suggestion for people who want to use their imaginations to create costumes for themselves or their children. Georgetown resident Dee Rockley said the mounds of used clothing at the Armstrong Avenue waste reduction and recycling centre offer ities for those looking for unique Halloween costumes.
