Halton Hills spring music festival Plans are underway to hold a spring music festival on May 1, 1993. The Halton Hills Professional Music Teachers Association is pleased to have Victor McCorry as our adjudicator. All classes will be at the Georgetown Alliance Church, on Main Street south of Maple Ave. Vocal and instrumental students must provide their own accompanist, composition students must supply a copy of their work. Pianists, vocal and instrumental ensembles are also invited to participate. Grade levels refer to the Royal Conservatory Syllabus, pieces may be chosen from any list. Entrants may not have passed the grade of their cho- sen class. If the class is determined by age, age is as of May 1, 1993. For classes in which music is “own choice”, students must submit a copy of their music with the entry form. The student’s own original copy will be handed to the adjudicator, all entrants are advised to play from memory. All students will be recognized for their performances. Students demon- strating outstanding musical excellence will be invited to perform their selections during a “Showcase Performance”. Entry forms and feeds must be submitted by Jan. 31, 1993.
