Legion #3 and Copper Kettle #2 tied 7-7, a rare event in the league. Legion #3 opened with two team wins over Kettle #2. Kettle fought back in the singles and tied these 4- 4, Sandy Mercer defeating a sad, non-doubling out Larry Hunt. AIA holding Cup breakfast The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Calgary Stampeders won't be the only ones planning a get together in Toronto this weekend. The Canadian Chapter of Athletes in Action will be holding its annual Grey Cup Breakfast on Saturday morning starting at 8 a. .m. The Bombers and Stampeders will meet Sunday for the Grey Cup at Skydome. Tickets are $15 per person or $150 for a reserved table of 10. Caps, Cougars hand Raiders puck defeats It was a good news-bad news type of weekend for the Georgetown The bad news was that the Central Ontario Junior Hockey League club dropped both of their weekend contests, extending their losing streak to 17 straight games. The good news is that the margin of defeat seems to be On Friday night Georgetown hosted East Division leader Brampton, los- ing an 11-8 shootout.
