On Tuesday, December 22, 1992 at approximately 10 p.m. Halton Regional Police responded to an alarm at Bloomingdales Restaurant at 1124 Plains Road, West in the City of Burlington, Ontario. Upon arrival the officers observed a fire in progress at the rear of the premises and the Fire Department was immediately notified and responded. The fire was limited to the rear and basement area of this build- ing.
