Car fire The Fire Department was called upon to extinguish a car fire at the M.Z. Bennett School in Acton on the morning of Feb. 15. Police say the fire started under the vehicle and completely damaged the front of the car before the blaze was put out. The fire department stated faulty wiring as a possible cause and dam- age to the car was estimated at $4,000. Another car, parked close by, sustained $1,000 worth of heat and fire damage, in the form of blis- tered and scorched paint.
