TOR. 874-3040 Successful Spring Bazaar District Christian School to hold it’s annual Spring Bazaar. Once inside the school’s doors, people were greeted with the smells of good food, the sounds of excited children, and the pleasing sights of old and new things to buy. The day began with a delicious breakfast served in the gymnasium. As people wandered through the local Christian elementary school, they found a different assortment of specialties in each classroom. One room held tempting baked goods and bright flowers. Another held used items that sold for a cheap price. Unique crafts were available as well as a convenient haircutting service. Games for the young and old were among the favorite attractions of the bazaar and parents especially appreciated the babysitting room. Lunch was served in the gymnasi- um where people sold cheese and fish, books, imported crafts and Provided face painting. The day ended with a grand auc- tion held a 3 p.m. where various Pieces of merchandise and hand- made items were auctioned off. All Proceeds from the annual ‘Spring Bazaar go to Christian School, to obtain new and additional computer equipment. The Bazaar committee expressed its thanks to all the local merchants and businesses who contributed goods or services for this event.
