Cindy Bodrug must have eaten the most, _ giving her the energy to hit a triple; Gloria Haines, Julie Anne Snyder and Colleen Cadger all hit doubles. The Fireballs weren’t so hot, but Goldie Cash hit a triple and a dou- ble and Andrea Ford hit a double. Catch the Wave 31 Sa-Fires 5 It was’ smooth sailing for these ladies tonight with Debbie Davies hitting a home run and a double. Shaaron Cater had three doubles. Sandy Robinson had a great night on the mound with five strikeouts and Joanne Kemper pitched well with four strikeouts. Sandy also hit a home run. Lori Hofing and Lois Osbourne had a triple each. Diane Moore had two doubles and Bobby Hyde also hit a double. As for the Sa-Fires, they didn’t come out shin- ing but it’s early in the season. Janice Clendening had two RBI’s and great defense + Melissa Muirhead. Great gam Fireballs 17 Hoyas 7 The Fireballs had a great game tonight with Jeanette Brandford going four-for-four with a double. Two doubles for Gail Campbell and one for Pat Morey. Way to go, ladies! The Hoyas’ Jeannie Brookes, Jennifer Reynolds, Kathy Sevenster, Jeannie Larusso and Rhonda-Lawr all hit doubles, but _ just couldn’t catch up. Solid pitch- ing by Cindy Kavanagh. Fallen Angels 16 Snowy’s Grapevine 7 The Angels were wearing shiny halos as Linda McClure hit a home tun. Linda Wier and Patti Sheppard both had:doubles. Not much to talk about on the grapevine tonight but Lisa Switzer hit a triple and Herminia Henderson made a great snag on third. Nancy Hoover stole home. Great game by all. Jaded Bunch 14 Sa-Fires 3 Dawn Broadbent hit a triple (you’re gonna get that home run soon). Marg Crowley and Sheila Kirk both had two RBI’s and stole home (way to go, mom!). A double for Wendy Reed and Helen Slingsby and two doubles for Sue Martin.
