Anniversary dinner By Marjorie Tutty P.R.O., Ladies Auxiliary Branch 120 “The upcoming month of September will be a very busy time for your Ladies Auxiliary and your Branch. A reminder to all members who wish, with their guests, to attend the joint Branch and Ladies Auxiliary 65th Anniversary Dinner, to be eld at Holy Cross Auditorium in Georgetown, Sat., Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. Some tickets at $12 each are available at the bar. This evening should be a must for all members. Not only will there be a great banquet but the entertainment by Globe Productions will,take one and all down memory lane. Memo to all Ladies Auxiliary sports members: On Sat., Sept. 11, Zone Euchre will be held in Georgetown, Branch 120 Hall. Captains, contact your team members and let Sheila Hicks (877-4713) Ladies Auxiliary Sports Officer know if your team will be participating! Monday Night Ladies Darts start its sport year as of Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. in the Legion Hall — if you are interested in joining this group of ladies, please call Ruby at 877-7401 or Rita at 877-4805. Other interesting events happening in the month of Ladies Auxiliary September include: Branch 120 Ist Vice President and Special Events Chairman Peter Smith needs “help” on Sept. 10, 11 and 12 at the Fall Fair refreshment tent. Volunteers (bless ‘em) L.A., Branch and friends can sign up at the Legion for four hour shifts. Hope to see your name beside mine. Joint Branch and Ladies Auxiliary Church Parade Sept. 19. Branch 120 Sgt.- at-Arms Keith Ewing will post the “Parade Form Up” time in the Branch. : Joint Branch and Ladies Auxiliary honors and awards Sept. 19. A light luncheon will be served at 12:30 p.m. downstairs. At 1:30 p.m. the ceremonies begin. Members and guests most welcome.
