The Hall Board has planned a special night for all ages. Starting at 730 p.m., there will be a corn roast which will include hotdogs on the menu. The corn pot will be kept boiling most of the night, just out- side the community centre. As in past years, many will find it hard to tear themselves away from the campfire. It is where many conversations are exchanged while taking in the night air, the soft red coals, and the aroma of the fire. For those wanting a little more activity, D.J. Rockin’ Ballinafad News Tom and Associates will start playing tunes at 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. for the dance inside the community cen- tre. They are sure to’have all of your dance requests, keeping the night lively and full of fun. There will be spot and door prizes, as ‘well as a cash bar. Tickets are available at the Ballinafad General Store at a cost of $5 per adult and $2.50 per child. These prices include a good feed of corn and hot dogs, entrance to the dance, and a chance to win some prizes. It will be hard to find a bet- ter bargain for your money, with today’s costs.
