Carol and Elaine in three sets defeated Audrey Jans and Onida Gravelle 5-7, 6-3, 7-5. The finals in the main event saw Carol and Elaine win over Chris Steen and Louise Campbell 6-1, 2-6, 6-3. In consolation-round play, Muriel Fraser and Norma Maynard defeated Karen Bottomley and Jacquie Taberer to advance to the Consolation finals against Gloria Sargent and Millie Pletsch. Muriel and Norma won 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Consolation winners received G.A.T.C. T-shirts and Ladies Doubles win- hers received trophies.
