Organized by the Downtown Acton BIA, residents of all ages could show their love for the franchise by dressing up as their favourite character and pose for a photo. Lots of Plants: The Acton Horticultural Society held their plant sale on May 20th at the Bethel Church parking lot. Despite the rain, a number of gardeners came out to purchase a wide variety of plants to take home. Proceeds from this sale go towards the Horticultural Society’s project to revitalize the Laura Dittrich Memorial Garden, located outside the Halton Hills Public Library Acton Branch, on River Street.
