The funds were raised through the annual Halton Hills Bike Swap that took place April 22nd as part of the Race to Net Zero event at the Acton Arena & Community Centre. © In honour of Mother's Day, the Downtown Acton BIA held a contest where participants could enter the name of their mom or their woman of inspiration for a chance to win one of three certificates with a value of $25.00 in Acton BIA Bucks. The winners of the contest were Savannah Ramirez, Jennie Culbert, and Joyce Lehman. Since February, the DABIA has been holding monthly contests, so be sure to stay tuned for future contests for your chance to win. The Acton Horticultural Society is seeking entries for their Annual Garden Contest. Entrants for this contest have a chance of winning gift cards to local businesses, and each entry will receive a free 1-year membership to be part of the Acton Horticultural Society.
