PAGE4 THE ACTON MONTHLY VOLUME 2, ISSUE I EDITORIAL .: With Scott Brooks Well, here it is, one year has passed since the first issue of The Acton Monthly was released! It is hard to believe that this publication, started in November 2022, is celebrating its first anniversary of covering the happenings of Acton, and as the Publisher and Editor, it has and continues to be an honour of bringing you the coverage of our great community of Acton. Over the past year, what started out as an 8-page paper, has evolved and expanded to become 16 pages with informative articles and a handful of great columns from the Mayor of Halton Hills, the Acton Legion and the Hillsview Active Living Centre—all helping you to keep up to date and connected. While I do play a major role of ensuring this paper is published each month, the success of The Acton Monthly also extends to the many local businesses, subscribers, and readers, like you, who have supported this paper since the very beginning. Without this support, it is very likely the paper would not have made it to this significant one-year milestone. While The Acton Monthly has made great strides since its first edition, this does not mean to start resting on its laurels. As my commitment to you, the reader, I will continue to work hard in providing a publication that you can enjoy reading each and every month and one that best represents our community. Thank you for your support and here's to year two of The Acton Monthly!
